Millie's Christmas Cookie Extravaganza...Post 8

Cinnamon Stars

by Millie

Sometimes the simplest cookies are the best. These sugar cookies are moist and soft,  a recipe for a simple yet delicious kid friendly cookie always wins the largest votes. I hope you like these as much as I did.

 Cinnamon Stars

2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4  c. non dairy butter (softened)
1/2 c. egg replacement
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Bowl 1....Combine butter & cinnamon in a small bowl....set aside.
In bowl 2...Blend together flour, egg replacement, sugar, and cinnamon...stir well, then slowly blend both bowls together.  If you feel it needs some water to mix it better just add some non dairy milk slowly to the mix.  Then roll out the dough to a 1/8 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.

Cut out your cookies with a 2-1/2 inch star cutter or your favorite cutouts.  Then place them 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.

Sprinkle cookies with cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. Cool for 1  minutes then remove them off the pan on a cooling rack. Cool completely before storing in a airtight container.

 Makes 3 dozen.

ENJOY!
